Employment Opportunities at Options

    Options' work is about social justice and strengthening our communities. We work toward those goals through our mission of assisting people with developmental disabilities to live full lives as members of community. Options employees are a diverse group of people who work with one or several individuals supported by Options.

    Options regularly recruits for live-in Paid Roommates and come-in Home Support Workers. Paid Roommates and Home Support Workers provide a wide range of assistance to individuals being supported by Options. Responsibilities may include personal care, home chores assistance, companionship, and assistance in participating in community life. These positions vary from part time to full time, and include benefits at 30 hours per week of employment.

    Home Support Worker

    ·         Young westside man with autism living at home needs help every other Sun 4-10pm; miscellaneous hours and fill-in opportunities also available. Offer prompts and encouragement around hygiene, dressing, breakfast, and communication.Must love the outdoors, dogs, and be a reliable team-player! $10.54/hr

     

    Various Part-time Positions

    ·         2 Westside men need help Friday 5-7pm. getting them to the Y and assisting them while there. Insured car required.

    ·        3 Eastside roommates needs help every other Sat + Sun 7:30-9pm

    ·         Eastside woman needs help every other Sat 9am-1pm, 3-4pm and 6:30-8:30pm

    ·         2 Eastside women need help every other Sat 10am-2pm

    ·         Westside woman needs help Tues 6-8pm, every other Fri 9am-12noon, every other Fri 4-8pm,every other Sat 10am-1pm, and every other Sat 4-8pm. Insured car desired

    ·         Eastside women needs help Fri 12n-3pm

    ·         Young Verona man with autism needs help for awake or sleep overnights: Tues 9pm-Wed 8:30am, Thurs 9pm-Fri 8:30 am, and Sun 9:30pm-Mon 9am.$10.26/hr

    ·         Westside man needs help Tues 5-6pm and Fri 1 flexible evening hour

Options also accepts applications for Community Support Worker positions, and keeps applications on file for six months in case of a position opening.
